Mr. Fudgesicle

Verse 1
Mr. Fudgesickle was a jolly fudgy chap,
With a candy cane tie and a taffy top hat,
He came to life one winter’s day
When a cocoa breeze came floatin’ his way.
The children cheered, “He’s real! Hooray!”
And danced with him ‘til close of day,
He chuckled low with a chocolate grin,
“Let’s make the world sweet—shall we begin?”

Chorus
Mr. Fudgesickle, made of fudge so fine,
With a butterscotch smile and a jinglebell spine.
He’d laugh and twirl and slide on ice,
Spreading cheer with sugar and spice!
Oh, Mr. Fudgesickle, your heart’s a candy flame—
Though the sun may shine, we’ll not forget your name!

Verse 2
He built a fort from cookie bricks,
And skated ‘round on licorice sticks.
He told tall tales of lollipop lands,
And gumdrop trees in peppermint sands.

But the sun peeked out with a golden yawn,
And Mr. Fudge knew he’d soon be gone.
He tipped his hat with a little bow,
“Don’t fret, dear friends, I’m with you now.”

Chorus
Mr. Fudgesickle, made of fudge so fine,
With a butterscotch smile and a jinglebell spine.
He’d laugh and twirl and slide on ice,
Spreading cheer with sugar and spice!
Oh, Mr. Fudgesickle, so warm and full of cheer—
Though you melt away, you’ll come again next year!

Bridge
There’s a hush when snowflakes fall,
And children gather, one and all,
For tales of fudge and days gone by—
Of the sweetest man beneath the sky.

Mr. Fudgesickle, you’re our winter friend,
From your chocolate toes to your peppermint end!
With your jolly fudgey heart and your cocoa crown,
You turn the whole wide world upside-down.
So wait for snow and listen near—
Mr. Fudgesickle will soon reappear!
